Commemorative markers can be found along the ribbon-shaped path bearing the names of firefighters, groups, and organizations that support the wildland fire community.

Exploring the Monument

The Monument is divided into five geographic areas to help visitors locate commemorative markers throughout the grounds. Each marker is referenced on these pages by a number and either an individual's name, incident name, or a general description. Markers honoring firefighters who have died in the line of duty during a wildland fire are denoted with a small purple ribbon insignia.
