Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) have been created for individuals looking to answer general questions about a specific area or topic. Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP) The Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP), a partnership of six Federal wildland and fire and research organizations, was established in 1998 to provide scientific information and support for fuel and fire management programs. All JFSP projects require scientist-manager partnerships along with strong emphasis on transferring research findings to the field.
Western Wildfire Reduction Coalition This site contains research reports, fast facts about creating fuel breaks, case histories, information on products to help reduce fine fuels, and contact information for experts. In addition, you can share your photos, data, and research reports on wildfire impact reduction with others dedicated to the cause.
