IRPG, January 2006 Edition
The IRPG is a small pocket-sized guide with checklists and commonly used information that is helpful for initial attack or extended attack incident operations. The NWCG Incident Operations Standards Working Team has issued an updated version of the IRPG for 2006. The significant changes in the 2006 version include: a Heliclock graphic on the cover to assist ground personnel communication with helicopter pilots; a revised reference for Power Line Safety at Wildland Fires; a revised reference for After Action Reviews; a new reference for Effective Use of SEATs; a new reference for Spot Weather Requests; a new reference for the Keetch-Byrum Index; a new reference on Human Factors and Decision-making; an updated Helicopter Passenger Briefing to match the IHOG; updates on various first aid protocols; and revised references for Hazard Trees and Falling Operations.
