The Situational Awareness poster was developed by the Boise National Forest with help from Missoula Technology and Development Center (MTDC) with funding from the Forest Service Region 4 Intermountain Regional Safety Council. Jim Kautz from MTDC was the photographer of all three photos. Photos of the South Canyon and Cramer Fires were taken shortly after the incidents. The photo of Mann Gulch was taken in August 2004.
