High Reliability Organizing, by Dr. Karl Weick and Dr. Kathleen Sutcliffe presented in 2005 to fire crews at the The Second Managing The Unexpected Workshop in Jacksonville, FL. This is a short version containing their core slides on HRO. High Reliability Organizing For Fire Crews is a one-hour presentation that explains the fundamentals of HRO, complete with notes to assist the presenter: Created by David Christenson in 2006. HRO For Leaders: Build a Healthy Safety Culture Using Organizational Learning and High Reliability Organizing, a one-hour presentation created by David Christenson, U.S. Wildland Fire Lessons Learned Center in 2007. "Leaders in the wildland fire community interested in significantly improving the safety of firefighters will appreciate having this presentation material. Speaker notes are included in the downloadable version. It is based upon the paper by the same title delivered by the author at the Wildfire2007 Conference in Seville, Spain in May 2007."
