The NWCG 2008 fireline training refresher, "The Changing Fire Environment," will be available March 21, 2008. Only the DVD version will be closed-captioned.
Copies of the 2008 Facilitator Guide and Student Workbook will be available for download March 14, 2008 from the BLM Training Unit website at http://www.blm.gov/nifc/st/en/prog/fire/training/fire_training/projects/refresher.html.
Fireline Safety Refresher Training Video Package Distribution and Ordering Procedures
BLM, BIA, USFWS, and NPS training representatives at the NIFC will distribute 2008 video packages to their respective districts/field offices, agencies, refuges, or parks. Other agencies, as well as state and private entities (USFS, DNR, VFD, etc.) need to order directly from the vendor, Custom Recording and Sound.
