While suppressing wildland fires is the firefighting community’s primary mission, wildland firefighters can also be mobilized to All Hazard Incidents through different agency agreements and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. All Hazard Incidents include, but are not limited to hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes, oil spills, and pandemic response.
